Swindon Mindful Employer Network (SMEN)

Championing Workplace Wellbeing in Swindon

The Swindon Mindful Employer Network (SMEN) is funded by Swindon Borough Council and delivered in partnership with Business West and Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind.

SMEN provides businesses with expert advice and guidance, with the core aim of empowering organisations of all sizes to support the mental wellbeing of their workforce. It also offers a platform for business owners and managers to share experiences, learn from one another, and connect with peers and mental health professionals through a programme of events.

About our SMEN event series

Across the SMEN event series, we invite mindful employers from Swindon and the surrounding areas to take part in important conversations about mental health and employee wellbeing in the workplace. Whether you run a small business or hold a management position within a larger organisation, the series is designed to support you in creating a more understanding, supportive, and productive environment for both you and your employees.

Each event explores a range of challenges that employers may encounter, offering practical guidance on how to become a more mindful employer. Attendees are also encouraged to contribute to the conversation through dedicated Q&A sessions, sharing experiences and insights with fellow professionals.

“I really enjoyed this event, thank you. As an advocate for the DWP Disability”

“Confident Scheme, it sat well with me.”

“It’s nice to see the available options and their methods for those struggling with low mental health.”

“Very good. Great speakers and Q&A session.”
