Fundraising

The support we provide for those across Swindon and Gloucestershire wouldn’t be possible

without the people who give their time, money, energy and passion to fundraise for us.  Along with raising money they join us in sending a message that mental health really matters.

If you’re arranging a fundraising event we would be delighted if you would consider supporting Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind.

If you decide to support us please do get in touch to let us know so we can give you the support you deserve.  We are a small charity therefore we are unlikely to be able to support all events in person, however, we will when we can.  We will provide our fundraisers with a t-shirt, collection buckets if required and help spread awareness through our social media platforms.

Virtual fundraising ideas

The outbreak of coronavirus is affecting all our lives in lots of different ways. If your fundraising plans have been postponed or cancelled, we’ve put together a selection of ideas for virtual fundraising that you can do from home instead.

Thank you for your continued support helping us provide life-saving information and advice for everyone experiencing a mental health problem.

Virtual Crafternoon

You can still bring friends and family together by hosting a Crafternoon. Register here and get your Crafternoon kit.

May Challenges

Set yourself an exercise and fundraising challenge and raise money for better mental health. 5k May and 100 Mile May are great ways to keep you moving and get you out in the beautiful month of May. Contact SG Mind for your free T Shirt!

Online gig

If you have a musical talent, take it online to a virtual gig through Facebook or Instagram live. Set up a Just Giving page so that those who join your gig can make a donation. Listening to live music is also a great way for others to take notice.

Birthday Fundraiser

Creating a birthday fundraiser is a fantastic way to give back to a cause you’re passionate about on your special day. Staying at home and self-isolating mean social gatherings and parties are on hold, but you could ask them to donate to Mind instead. Encourage friends and family members to forgo birthday gifts and donate to your birthday fundraiser by setting up a Just Giving page for SG Mind or you find us on Facebook.
