Mental Elf Festive Fun Run Brings Community Together for Mental Health in Swindon
Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took part in and supported our Mental Elf Festive Fun Run at GWR Park on Sunday 30th November. What a spectacular day it was – filled with energy, colour, and community spirit as participants of all ages came together in their festive outfits to raise vital funds and awareness for local mental health services.
The event featured both 2k and 5k fun runs and walks, encouraging everyone – from seasoned runners to families out for a stroll – to take part in a celebration of wellbeing and support. In true festive style, fancy dress was positively encouraged and embraced, with runners, walkers, and even four-legged friends getting into the spirit of the day.
We were thrilled to see such a fantastic turnout and feel the true heart of our community in action. Your incredible energy, kindness, and big hearts helped bring the whole park to life and will make a real difference in continuing to provide essential mental health support across Swindon and Gloucestershire.
