About the Role:
We are looking for up to two trustees to join our Board during 2021. Trustees are our most senior leaders. They set our strategic direction, make sure we are using our resources effectively and ensure we are having the greatest possible impact on society. Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults with care support needs and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We are looking for dedicated, empathetic and ambitious candidates to help make our mission a reality and lead us closer towards our ultimate ambition: a society where everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups, such as the BAME and LGBT+ communities as well as people living in Swindon or Gloucestershire who have a strong knowledge and understanding of the local environment in Swindon and/or Gloucestershire.
