We are looking for an executive secretary to join our Board during 2021. The successful candidate will be dedicated, empathetic and confident in supporting the board to make our mission a reality and lead us closer towards our ultimate ambition: a society where everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
The executive secretary is primarily responsible for the smooth and efficient running of meetings of the trustee board. This includes distributing agendas and other papers before each meeting, taking a note of the meeting, circulating minutes to the board, and ensuring that the trustees’ decisions are acted upon.
We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups, such as the BAME and LGBT+ communities as well as people living in Swindon or Gloucestershire who have a strong knowledge and understanding of the local environment in Swindon and/or Gloucestershire.
