“I’ve been so grateful for the experience I’ve gained over the past few months at the support and connect group. I’ve seen how important Mind is for all the people who attend; you all do an invaluable job. Obviously I’ve only seen the support and connect group in action, but I’ve come to learn how integral that small room and the faces and connections inside it are to the people who go. It’s a reliable rhythm, a safe space full of familiar faces, somewhere people go to watch, listen, share conversations, have some company, and most importantly perhaps, to feel like they belong somewhere. I think it’s a credit to everyone in the office that it runs reliably every week. I hope that everyone up there knows how much it’s valued by everyone who attends.”
