Reports to: Service Manager
Starting Salary: £27,000
Location: Swindon
Hours: Full Time (35 Hours per week)  

We are looking for Mental Health Safeguarding Practitioners for the new Family Safeguarding Model within Swindon. This is a partnership project with Swindon Borough Council (SBC), a new multi-disciplinary approach that will involve practitioners working in multi-disciplinary teams with adult specialist workers responding to complex issues of domestic abuse, mental health and substance misuse. The service utilises motivational interviewing as the unifying practice model.

About the Role:
The Mental Health Safeguarding Practitioner role is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a new multi-disciplinary Family Safeguarding Model with Swindon Borough Council and Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind. You will provide mental health assessments and interventions to parents and children involved with the Family Safeguarding Service in their homes or in community venues to increase access and engagement.
